Arrival windows, drawn from real availability — never a slot you can’t work.
The part other tools get wrong
A booking is a request until you say otherwise
Most booking software drops a stranger straight into your calendar. That is fine for a salon with a front desk. It is not fine when you are one van, and the Tuesday somebody just filled was the day you were driving to a supplier.
Here, requests queue up. You read them, fix the postcode they mistyped, ring them if something looks odd — and then approve. Only then does it become a job.
How it works
Three steps for them, one for you
They pick what they need
Your job templates become the list — drain cleaning, boiler service, whatever you actually do. Tick which ones strangers may book; the rest stay internal.
They pick a time you can work
The calendar shows your opening hours minus the jobs already in your diary, never inside your notice period. If it is offered, it is genuinely free.
You say yes
It arrives as a request. Fix the address they mistyped, ring them if you want, then approve — and it becomes a job with the customer already on file.
Your rules
It books your week, not a generic one
Every setting here exists because a trade business asked for it, and each one is a phone call you no longer have to make.
Arrival windows, not appointments
Offer “2:00 – 4:00 PM” instead of promising 2:00 sharp. One setting, and it is kinder to both of you than a time nobody can keep.
A notice period you set
Same day, tomorrow, or next week. Nobody books you for ten minutes’ time while you are under a sink.
Your service area
List the postcodes you travel to. Anyone outside is told on the first screen, before they fill anything in — and before you have to make that call.
One van or three
Say how many jobs you can run at once. A crew of three gets three slots at the same hour; a sole trader gets one.
Cancellations without phone tag
Every confirmation carries a cancel link. The customer asks, you decide — and approving it clears the job from your schedule too.
Off whenever you like
A switch on your own settings page. Turn it off in a busy week and your link simply stops taking bookings.
It doesn’t stop at the booking
An approved booking is a real job, with the customer already in your client list and their notes attached. Finish it, and the invoice builds itself from what you did.

Questions about online booking
- Does a booking go straight into my calendar?
- No. It arrives as a request and nothing touches your schedule until you approve it. That is deliberate — a stranger should not be able to fill your Friday while you are on a roof. Approving turns it into a job with the client record created for you.
- What stops someone booking a time I cannot work?
- The calendar is built from your opening hours minus the work already in your diary — real jobs and other people’s pending bookings — and never shows anything inside your notice period. A slot that is offered is a slot that is free.
- Do my customers need an account?
- No, and they never will. They pick a service, pick a time, leave their details, and get a confirmation email. No password, no app to download.
- Where does my booking page live?
- At your own address — app.crewspur.com/booking/your-business-name. Put it on your van, your invoices, your Google listing and your Instagram bio.
- Can I change a booking after accepting it?
- Yes. Move it to any quarter hour, and the customer gets an email with the new time and a fresh link to cancel if it no longer suits. The job moves with it, so your schedule and their expectations never drift apart.
- What if I want to take one job outside my hours?
- You can. Your own picker shows the whole day, marks what is already busy and what falls outside your published hours, and lets you pick it anyway. The rules are for the public form, not for you.
